Now that Fall has officially started and we’re all returning to our routines, are you feeling ready for more students? Well, we have good news! Read on for more information and some helpful tips to get more students and more tutoring hours this Fall!🍁
As you already know, the most common way to gain new students is to set your availability on your Calendar and conduct trial sessions. Earlier this Summer, we introduced the Vacancy Page as an easier way to see and apply to take on students who are looking for a new or additional tutor.
There are currently many students who are looking for a new tutor on the Vacancy Page, with more posted every day! Don’t forget to continue checking the page regularly and apply to any of the postings that sound like a good fit for you.
Haven't used the Vacancy Page yet, or need some tips for improving your chances of being accepted?
Here are some Vacancy Page tips:
- Make sure you read the whole post before applying to make sure you have the capacity and availability to take on the student, and that they’re the right fit for you.
- Don’t forget to check the Other Subjects page for postings for topics such as art, coding and IT, economics, and more!
- Make sure your profile is up to date with as much information as possible about you so that our amazing Educational Advisor team can make the best match! Tutors with complete profiles and Teaser Videos are much more likely to be selected for a vacancy. Here are some helpful resources on improving your profile and filming the best Teaser Video possible!

As always, those who are looking for more students should continue to consistently input availability on their calendar (it doesn't carry over). Improving your profile and adding a Tutor Teaser video will also increase your chances of being contacted for a Trial Session!
